Guitarist Anders Nilsson’s new band Hesa Gun combines his long lasting embrace of quirky grooves, expressionism, introspection in a book of new compositions together with great friends and collaborators Sam Kulik – trombone, David Ambrosio – bass, and Vinnie Sperrazza – drums & percussion. The NYC band’s music draws from blues, Brazilian music, jazz, expressionism through group improvisation. The tune titles thus far are:
