This is a band for which I write my version of chamber music. It’s influenced by a few 20th century classical idioms, noir and compositional ideas for electric guitar and an acoustic, drummer less ensemble I’ve been dreaming about. This started as a guitar & alto saxophone duo in 2014, became a trio with upright bass in 2016, and grew to a quartet with viola in 2019. Without the members’ unique personalities and deft musicianship and improvisational abilities it wouldn’t be nearly what it is. We also throw in the occasional cover tune.
